Hi guys, i am very much a newby when it comes to forums, posting threads e.t.c. So please bare with me. Right so i have a 2000 audi a6 saloon 1.8 turbo(not quattro). lately the car seems to be having problems starting. 50 % of the time it will start and same for not starting. it tends to not start more when i put petrol in and it leaves me sat in the petrol station for 5 minutes waiting for it to start. and then when it does start the revs drop if i apply a bit of throttle. it does to it occassionally at other places but majority is in the petrol station. sometimes it starts no problems at all. any ideas would be much appreciated. You might fare a little better posting this under the "A6" platform. Also, do you have a CEL and have you scanned it for any codes?
