Steering Problem! Help
When im on the interstate (which is where i do most of my driving) my car tends to lean to the right side and feels very uncomfortable, almost like im about to lose control. It usually is only a problem going over 60mph but sometimes if i hit a bumb or take a turn something feels very wrong. Ive had the struts replaced, alignment, new tires, they checked the wheel bearing and said it was fine. Does anyone else have any ideas of what it could be. Im 99% sure its a problem with the passenger side front wheel in one way or another. This really bothers me and while driving on the interstate it feels highly unsafe. Any help or ideas is greatly appreciated. Thanks -Sean
i would think either upper control arms or a bad tie rod. also check the aligment specs. most local shops dont want to touch the camber. i had a similar problem a few weeks ago when after replacing my upp CAs the left side was in spec with negative camber the right side had about .02 degrees of postive camber. only fix was to take it to audi and have them shift the engine cradle .03 degrees to give me negative camber after that the cars great again.
