checked all fuses - good
checked all wiring - good
had P0501 for vehicle speed sensor.. installed new one, no more code, still no speedometer
ABS is good, all sensors good
instrument cluster working - verified through VAG-COM output test
unhooked the battery for an hour.. no change

also my odometer is stuck and mileage will not count

im at a loss.. any ideas?

 

When you VAG COM measuring blocks, do you get a speed reading that way?

 

suppose if i did or didn't?

 

just go with the flow of traffic and have a car that will never lose it's value lol

 

Same issue here my tach works and the trip counter works. speedo goes down past zero and wont go above 40. sensors are good magnetic ring good. any ideas?
