Default Sumitomo tires

I have an oppurtunity to get some new tires at a heavily discounted price from a member of a unrelated motorcycle forum I frequent.
Got a 2000 A4 Quattro w/ 205x55Rx16 Bridgestones presently.
He has 4 new 215x60Rx16 Sumitomo HTR A/S P01 high performance all-season tires, good for 65,000 mi.(i checked).
1. Will they fit my stock wheel and work under the fender (i think spacing is not a problem)
2. Has anyone here tried these or other Sumitomo tires?
Thanks......in advance
Rich

As long as you're getting a good price...

I have these and like them however bought the car with CRAP tires and instantly replaced them so i don't have much to compare them to.

it's gonna be a tight fit. i can't tell you for sure if it'll fit but if it does, it's gonna be really tight. 235/40/18s are much wider but .75 smaller in diameter. you could try mounting one tire and seeing if it fits though

Thanks for the responses.
I think the fit should be fine, and for $62. a tire, that seems quite low to me.
Mounting shouldn't cost to much i think

Wow really "235" but with what profile... 45, 50, 55 ??? 60 seems it could pose a problem. I'd rather go taller to fill the wheel well space.
Wouldn't one size over, say a 215 on a 55R be slightly taller than the oe tire?
