Default suspension help!!!!

Okay so whenever I drive my Audi, I hit a bump and the car jerks to the other side of the bump and bottoms out BAD and the driver side tire wears out really fast on the edge. I have no idea what could be wrong. Also, whenever I shift from 1st to 2nd it shifts really hard and the car jerks up. I was told it could be one of the engine mounting brackets for the shifting part. But I checked them and their fine. Help please!!

let's get the easy one frist. with the shifting issues it's probably the snub mount (front engine mount). with the outher you probabley need to replace all the gromits and mounts on the side it pulls to it also probabley needs an alinement. this is the best guess i can you without seeing it or driving it. my other advice is either take it to a dealer and have them look at it or someone you would trust to look at it

Ya I was just gonna take it to an alignment shop and get new shocks and struts. The previous owner lowered it himself and is extremely dumb and I'm guessing that's what screwed it up. And the mount, there are the two one the sides and then two on the front and back right??

I think what he was trying to say was "is the trans towards the back" as in, behind the engine, which it is. Even in the FWD A4, the engine is mounted longitudinally.
