Suspension rework
Front suspension loose and noisy. Decided to fix.
Have complete set (upper, lower control arms, tie rod, sway bar).
Also front and rear bearings.
I will take the hubs off (front and rear) to have the bearings pressed out and in.
Rear pads on one side are worn, will be replace (since its rear, I think standard autozone or similar should do). Discs are good.
If one side is worn, the other not: does that indicate that something is wrong? Since one side is not worn, could the caliper be stuck?
What should I check on the rear brakes?
Removal:
- front bolt of upper control arm can't be taken out (hitting fender). Cut head off? Or remove strut mounting plate (engine bay) and get the room needed to take them out?
- pinch bolt holding the upper control arm (passenger side only): won't budge. Spray, hard hits with hammer. Suggestions?
- Sway bar bushings. Not sure when they were (ever?) changed. But since the sway bar links are off: what to install? Source? Are there upgraded once (polyurethane?) I should put in?
I had vibrations (65-75 mph). Tires rebalanced, no change. With all 4 wheels in the air (on stands), ran the car. Driver side rear wheel was vibrating. Took wheels off. Still vibrations (not tire/wheel). Can a bad bearing cause/allow the vibrations?
Finishing clutch change: The triple square bolts (new) for the half shafts in the front, how hard should I torque them, and should I put Loctite (which) on? Do they have to be aligned (driver vs. passenger side? relative to the gear side?)

Still struggling getting that pinch bolt out. Have sprayed it several times over the last 2 days with PB Blaster. Hammering won't move it; can't turn the bold head (difficult access to get a good wrench and extension on). I tried to pry the slots with a chisel.
Any suggestion how to get it out? Use a propane torch to heat the outside so the pin/bolts break loose? What will I melt in the process?
