Had it for six months or so before getting a killer deal on my coilovers. S4 suspension is a great setup on the A4. Search for "411 suspension S4" or some combo like that - I made a post about it that covers everything you need to know.

 

you weren't running S4 COs you liar. he had stock S4 strut/springs and so did i. most COs will fit all the B5s regardless of the engine but make sure it's for your driveline (quattro or fwd).

F*cking ballbuster lol - I misread it and took it to mean S4 suspension. If the OP means coilovers intended for an S4, yes they'll fit the A4. They're probably billed as S4 parts due to stiffer spring rates than an A4 might use because of the sports nature of the S4. Architecturally the suspension mounting is the same for all B5 4-series cars - what bolts into one will bolt into the others.
