Vmaxx are great budget c/o if you are looking more for the looks then the handling, they have near stock spring rates, so they remain smooth and comfortable, but because of that are prone to bottoming out when driven hard through the twisties or if you slam the car too much.

as for springs, H&R/bilstein are a pretty usual set-up and are competitively priced.

I belive if my memory is right the the eibach package is only for non-quattro cars (butI could be wrong).

As for FWD c/o, I think Tein makes a pair and one other company I know does but I forget the name, I'll look it up after class and get back to you on that. (it was a lesser known forign company but makes god parts)

Yeah after some research i will probably go with some coilovers, i need to be able to change the ride height in between seasons, here in new york you never know how the winters are gonna be and once i winterize my car i wanna be able to lift it a bit and throw the stocks back on for better handling in the snow. Thanks for your replies guys, now i need to find some good coilovers..

I looked at the recommended "KONI Threaded Suspension Kits Coilovers", and they are running at around $1,300 w/free shipping. I also see the "H&R Full Suspension Coilovers" for $1,200. Its a tough one because i wonder how different they are...

with what you have in mind you are going to have to find anodized or coated c/o that are corrosion resistant or else they will seize up after a winter or two of abuse on NY streets I'm pretty sure.

I was looking at FK's (they are a bit pricier but good C/Os)

also here is the best deal i've found on H&R's

does the 12v sit higher than the facelift? i parked next to a 12v today and it was a monster truck compared to my stock non-sport suspension
