i believe i have seen a post before about retrofitting the b6/b7 symphony II+ HU with the 6disc changer built in, into the b5..

im getting a new rns-e unit installed in my b7 on Wednesday and will have one for sale, id say like new condition and it has the ipod cord or w/e installed from the dealership. looks just like b5 model but has chrome *****..

i know its not a direct fit, nor the actual process but i believe it just needs some slight trimming(maybe just sanding?) to the sides...
its not a major upgrade but i know how some feel about keeping the stock look/feel but the chrome details i think are a minor, but major improvement in the style of it.

to make this very clear, this IS the unit that has the internal 6disc changer, so no external box/cartridges to deal with in your trunk or glove box and i do believe if you have the external unit already, i THINK it can still be connected to this unit.

they sell for like 700-800(ridiculous) on ecs i was thinking like 150ish(very negotiable) +/- with shipping if anyone is interested give me a PM(i dont check the b5 forums much anymore..)
i dont have pictures ill take some after i take it out of my car if someone wants me to..

and yes i know this should be in the for sale section but i know how these forums work, its easier to just come to the b5 section.
