Default Broken down

So I had a lot of popping and clunking in the front end leaving Walmart made it about 2 miles down the road then grinding clunkin and that was it no movement in any gear just grinding sound stuck at a stop sign. Cvs still look attached to transmission haven't had towed yet so can dig in yet any ideas. I can throw it in any gear and take foot off clutch and won't stall out or anything

WHy exactly are you replacing the whole driveline if the clutch is at fault? The clutches will match but why use an old clutch? No one wants to do that job twice if its not needed

Because mines at 240k on it and this setup has 140k on it so I'd rather just swap everything for the less mileage setup and I need to replace my rack and pinion cause that just started to go this week then bam this happened so it will be easier to drop the whole engine cradle with trans and motor setup and change the rack and put the less mileage stuff in it

could be a half shaft problem, like stripped in the hub, etc. my clutch didn't fail suddenly but wore out and slipped.

Exactly but is it possible the shaft went but didn't tear off the boots cause in past experience the boot always tore when broke
