so is the top straps of the 4-point connected to anything like a roll cage/bar? or are they just looped down to the bottom making the seatback take all the forces which it isnt designed to do, ? safety isnt something i would sacrifice for looks.

 

they're actually a 3pt harness. the side points are mounted where the factory belt is, and the back strap WAS mounted at about a 45 degree angle in between the rear seats, which is the lowest safe spot you can mount them. they're currently not attached to anything as i'm going to be installing a roll bar and doing a rear seat delete in the coming months, which the harnesses will then be mounted to the bar.
