So i just got my labree highflow cat installed new gaskets(that dont melt off) and it sounds wonderful!...driving to school tha car starts to get a little sluggish im thinkin im low on gas it putters to a stop...pull on some side street and it wont turn over it cranks and cranks but nothing i put some gas in it and nothing...its gettin gas i can smell it from the fpr and in cylinders but theres no spark to ignite it

Any ideas!? its at a shop going to get looked at tomorow some mechinic tried telling me i needed a timing belt(it was replaced 20k ago) his excuse was the belt looked dry! so yeah any input at all would helpful

K, if it happened after you installed the cat, and it hasn't happened before that leads me to believe the installation of the cat didn't go 100%. Try putting it stock to when it worked fine, see if you have problems, if not see if you can install the cat again.

 

it was running better with that cat with hand tight bolts...and the o2 sensors control gas so i dont see how that would effect the spark problem not allowing my car to start it would start and drive like @ss

 

Oh and theres no CEL an O2 sensor would throw one (i know from experience)

 

Oh was that kind of unrelated lol, well I could say it most likely isn't your timing belt

 

yeah i kind of knew that...i later found out the machenic was in need of work so i geuss thats where the timing belt came from...but its starter starter seliniod main coilpack or some crap i dont know about could bea bad spark plug or coilpack for all i know!

 

What bothers me is the fact that it stopped running AND won't start.[sm=smiley22.gif]

 

Ohhhhhhhh that bothers you!? im stuck calling ever girl in my phone looking for a ride around...then had to push it wit 2 of my friend down the street to another auto service place ( i have pictures of this btw)
