Is there an ATF dipstick for 2000 B5?
no
audi transmissions are sealed. they are supposed to be "lifetime" fluid. you will need a vag-com and a way to get under the car while it is perfectly level. you need to get the transmission up to temperature (hence the vag-com which will allow you to see the trans temp in real time), then you can check the fluid level at the fill plug.

I don't think there is. If it's the same as the 2001, the only way to check it is to bring the trans temperature up to a specified number and then fill through the trans sump pan until it starts to dribble out. If you don't have a vag-com, you might be better off having a stealership check it for you.
The above poster neat me to essentially the same comment.
