Does anyone have experience with taking off the spoiler?

Did the trunk paint come off or any uneven/unusual shade of fade showing where the spoiler is/was?

I keep thinking of purchasing one but knowing my self, I'd get tired of it and probably want to take it off but don't want any of those happening.

ive had my trunk spoiler on my S4, my temp car a bmw 325 and now the same one on my A4 12v. as long as oyu clean and use some wax it shouldnt leave and marks or unsightly residue, also most of the lip spoilers use 3m tape so if anyhting you may have some residue that can be removed with goof off.
