Default Thouhts and interest?

I've been on and off of here the last few years but am really thinking about selling my car...

black 2001 a4 1.8t, 18 flik, bose, just changed timming belt, control arm, and new brakes 2 weeks ago, 6000k, quite a few otherthings, ALWAY garaged, etc...

the catch... only 55k miles on it!

How much do you think I could sell it for? I've had my eye on a few other cars but hate giving away my baby...

Just as a way to estimate your car's asking price, I bought mine (bone stock) for 7400. It's a 2000 1.8TQ with 107K miles. It was also probably not as well kept as yours, so I's say at least ask for 10.5k. Maybe more.

you wont get 10k because it is not an s4 sorry. I paid 5500 for mine. With all those things u have I would venture a guess as to say 7500 tops. However sell it for what u feel is good for u so that u dont feel like u wasted money on the car and you feel is an overall good deal for you. As you said the car is in good shape so the selling price is in your favor. People cant complain or question anything on the car because u have sure fire facts about it. Ultimately I would start at what you want for it. Sit on that price and see if anybody fishes or makes a deal you would take. If after a few months you get no offers push the price down alittle.

Try www.kbb.com (Kelley Blue Book) for a quick estimate for your car. I got my '98 2.8 w/ 96,500 on the clock for $7650. I don't think blue book will take any mods into account though.
