thread bolt lug pattern?
does anyone know what it is? my 240 was like 12.25 or something idk.. but im wanting to get some locking lugs for my rims cuz i dont trust people but i need to get the right kind... and also since i have rims now (35 offset) will i need to buy longer bolts or will normal size fit? thanks
M12 - 1.5x19mm. it depends on the wheels. check out how long the lugs are for the new wheels, if you have new lugs, and compare. otherwise, put some grease on the old lugs, thread them on and see how far into the hub the grease goes. and guesstimate. you can be off by 5mm or so but don't go off by 10mm

they are 14x1.5 haha... well thats what pepboys told me anyways... but i just used the same bolts... they worked fine.. thanks though, im gonna go to audi in a minute and ask them jsut to be safe... cant always trust auto stores lol
bolts are m14, not m12, and the thread size is 1.5mm. phil, take one of your stock wheels off and put a bolt through it and do the same with one of your new wheels and compare how far out the back it goes.. if it's more than a few mm you should buy extended bolts. you may also need hubcentric rings
what are hubcentric rings and where can i buy them? the guy i bought the rims from said they came off his 99 a4 but he sold the car and put the stock rims back on... so would i still need the rings? he never mentioned anything about them
you can get hubcentric rings on ebay for like 10-15 bucks. you hate ebay so I dunno, probably most online stores should be close to that price. most aftermarket wheels have a large hub size so they can be used on any car with a smaller hub size by using hubcentric rings. if you feel vibrations (most noticeable at higher speeds I think) while driving that's probably why. audi/vw hub size is 57.1mm
car's lookin good by the way
