Default Throttle wire / Catch can

Been repairing and rebuilding my 1.8t aeb for quite some time now i noticed my throttle cable is a bit loose. Should it be nice and tight/snug?? Also I noticed I need a catch can is there any kits for a decent price for sale? what type should i buy? or should i piece a kit together?

Thanks
PS: I will be relocating my forge hybrid dv to after the throttle body

You mean before the throttle body? I run a vortex-style catch can from 034 and its awesome. I had an eBay setup before and the quality of the stuff was pretty good but the inlet/outlet diamter was too small for a turbo application

I had the same catch can as CCA4 previously, but found another option on eBay for roughly the same price, that has a larger inlet/outlet (think I'm using 5/8" ID hose). So, they're out there.

I put a little bit of steel wool in the eBay can, the 034 one has nothing in it currently. Works much better, but I'm sure that's because of the better design and larger inlet/outlet diameters, not the lack of steel wool.

Don't have any steel wool in mine, but probably should get some in there to improve its efficacy.
