Throttle wire / Catch can
Been repairing and rebuilding my 1.8t aeb for quite some time now i noticed my throttle cable is a bit loose. Should it be nice and tight/snug?? Also I noticed I need a catch can is there any kits for a decent price for sale? what type should i buy? or should i piece a kit together?
Thanks
PS: I will be relocating my forge hybrid dv to after the throttle body

You mean before the throttle body? I run a vortex-style catch can from 034 and its awesome. I had an eBay setup before and the quality of the stuff was pretty good but the inlet/outlet diamter was too small for a turbo application
I put a little bit of steel wool in the eBay can, the 034 one has nothing in it currently. Works much better, but I'm sure that's because of the better design and larger inlet/outlet diameters, not the lack of steel wool.
good deal.
im currently doing this minus the steel wool- http://http://www.srtforums.com/foru...ch-can-488360/
seems like a good idea, and its actually a fun little project.
(Please excuse the fact that i got this from a srt fourm... lol)
