A couple of days ago my car started making a high pitched whine when I step in the clutch. Through searching ive found it'll cost me about 1100 to just replace that or 1500 to replace the whole clutch. the clutch is fairly new though. Is it a big problem if i just leave it? There arn't any quick fixes to it, like applying grease to some spot? I could live with it, just hate that it makes my car sound like some rust pot.

No. If it's actually a release bearing, you have to replace it. Sucks, but whattya gonna do?
