tinted tails
Yeah, one thing about spray tinting that kinda sucks is the fact that you need to be very careful that both tail lights are the same shade. As you can see from Andrews tails, it's really easy to have one side darker than the other. You don't have that issue with tint film. And as the last post states, it's real easy to pull off the film if the Poe-Poe gives you any ****. If your gonna go the film route, buy a big sheet of it so you can practice and get it perfect. When you cut your pieces, cut them with about 2inches of overlap on all sides. That way you can heat the film with a heat gun or hair dryer to stretch it over the edges(without burning yourself). I'm planning to use the film as soon as I can get some cash together. Oh and BTW, don't skimp on the quality of the film(no autozone BS). Find a place that sells LUMAR window film, and get them to sell you a sheet. That **** will last forever, and is not extremely expensive.
Here, this sounds like what you're looking for:

VHT Nite Shades (a bitch to source)
Matte Clear coat
Done slowly and lightly lol
Taping off the clear was a BITCH! but it looks great and matches the silver
I'm gonna go a couple coats darker and tint the 3rd brake light soon.

With the spray tint, it looks a little different on each side due to differences in lighting. For example the passenger side seems a tad lighter because the sun was setting. They look great at day, and better at night!
