Default tiptronic

i have a question about using tiptronic
For example, i am running in 4th gear and i need to stop while i am in tiptronic mode can i go down the gears using tiptronic or do i just let it do it by it self?
And also if i am driving on the freeway 5th gear and i wona go to 4th, can i be doing that on tiptronic or is it gona **** it up? cuz when i do that it doesnt feel right the car kinda jerks a little when it changes to a lower gear, but this is only when doing that in tiptronic mode

you can shift down when your braking to a stop (engine braking), just dont go so far down like to 1st gear cuz you'll ramp up your RPM and also not good for the car. You can also let the car do it on its own...

Whatever jerky sensation you feel when you downshift from 5th to 4th on a freeway could be something bad...or something normal. If you're hardly pressing on the gas and downshift, you'll get jerked towards the steering wheel. When you quickly put the gas down to the floor and then downshift, you'll get jerked towards your seat (not by much).

Another thing, if launch your car hard from a stop without shifting the tip, it will shift for you at 6000RPM or so.
