Default Tire rack H&R springs

How are the H&R springs on tire rack.com? Im looking for a stiffer ride and reduced body roll. Will this help? Also which one would you recommend for a daily driver that includes some spirited driving and occasional autocross the black or red set up? -Thank you

I would personally go with the race setup--the touring / sport setup probably won't lower it much.

Do you already have sport suspension? Are you going to do aftermarket shocks as well?

The H&R Sport Setup dropped me by at least 2 inches in the front. See my thread I posted: https://www.audiforums.com/forum/sho...d.php?t=168419

I had to roll my fenders in order to not rub and I still need to get rubber coil boosters to completely not rub on the inner plastic well on hard bumps.

I agree. Sport springs lower the car a great deal but still maintains dent driveability. The race setup will lower you more but should definitely affect driveability.

I wasn't even interested in them for the lowering purpose, more of the stifness and reduced body roll. I honestly don't know much about suspension so if I bought the springs do I also need new shocks or do I just replace the stock springs with the aftermarket springs but keep the stock shocks?

Many will say that is is alright to keep the stock struts for sport springs, but I suggest replacing them with suitable struts if you have the means.

As far as stiffening up the body roll, it will help, but a larger diameter sway bar front and back would be even better than springs alone.

If you want a tighter suspension I would suggest getting a good set of shocks along with a larger diameter front and rear sway bars as Obnoxious wrote.

I can tell you I definitely feel a difference like night and day on my setup: Bilstein Sports/ H&R Sport Springs/ S4 Front & Rear Sway Bars.
