Torx bolt on #7 Cam Bearing cap is &$#}~%%!

So I'm doing the Cam Chain Tensioner Seals on my son's 1998 A4 Quattro 2.8 and I'm having a heck of a time coming up with a T-30 driver which will fit between the lower Torx bolt on the right side #7 Cam Bearing cap and the body of the car. Are there right angle Torx drivers (ala allen/hex keys) available on the market or do I have to jack or tilt the engine to make enough clearance?

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. :)

Any chance you could provide a photo? If i have a look i could probably recommend something for you.
I don't remember the body getting in the way of that job off hand.

Thank you for your willingness to have a look-see. :)

It's kind of hard to get in there well enough to give perspective; I can E-Mail you the full sized shots if that would help. You can PM me at shipo [put the "at" sign here] yahoo.com.

I use the stubby 1/4" drive socket for them. I have VIM tools pn:hct1050-03.
The set is very inexpensive.
Hope this helps.

I have a Torx socket set which includes a T-30 which is a 1/4" drive; apparently mine is too long for the job. :( Thanks for the help. :)

take the torx bit out of the 1/4 socket and use a 1/4 open end on it.

Thanks guys, I actually got around to that solution on my own; tried a 7mm open end, too small, tried a 9mm open end, too big, couldn't find my 8mm open end so I tried my 1/4" open end, ahhh, just right! :)
