Beau, I still haven't decided. The muffler/resonator I have picked out come with inlet/outlet diameters from 2.25 to 4". I was thinking 2.5" or 2.75". Overkill for a K03 but then I wouldn't have to redo it when I eventually go BT. Jeremy said the guy at the shop will do 3" if you're interested. that is unless you've still got that Milltek for sale

Still for sale, I have some guy that texts me once in awhile saying he's going to come buy it sometime, but who knows. If I were you, I'd go 2.75 at least. You dont want to have to replace it again later on. Im going on my 4th system including my stock one.

What time were you planning on leaving VA on friday?

There isn"t really an overkill for turbo exhaust......well like I wouldn't put a 5" exhaust on a stock 1.8....you know what I mean. If you plan on going bigger turbo soon....get the bigger exhaust now. For now just keep the downpipe a bit smaller to keep a bit of back pressure on the turbo. Going too big will make it spool slower and be less responsive. So keep a 2.5 downpipe and plan on changing it with the new turbo(s).

Just my .02 cents

Yeah I hear you guys. Beau, that Milltek won't bolt up to the stock DP right? If I brought cash and a DP to Bing would you be willing to swap at the exhaust shop while yours is getting fabbed up? Not sure what time I'm gonna leave VA but I'll have the whole day off, so I can plan it around you guys.

It could be made to connect to the stock dp at the exhaust shop, but why not just get a custom one from them if its really as cheap as everyone says. That way you'll get a full, new, and custom turbo-back setup... My Milltek isnt on my car and isnt going to be then, I plan on driving up with an open downpipe. I'll probably do a halfday at work so figure I'll be getting on the road by around 1-2pm.

lol you're gonna drive that far on an open DP? That should be interesting. If you're up fer it I'll just pick up a flex pipe instead of the muffler/resonator and pay you cash for the whole shebang at the meet.

You guys are funny, I used to rock my foxbody dragster around a lot. The fuel pump noise bothered me more than the lack of exhaust.
