wats up guys i currently have s4 rims on my car good condition with brand new tires tread is amazing.. i got offered a GIAC chip & a Ko4 Turbo is that a good trade ? lmkk plsss

 

ahh i would think it is personally. K04 if it is not beat and is OEm will be atleast $900 plus a chip is roughly anywhere from $400+ (don't hold me to it) . i would take the deal as long as you ahve back up rims, etc. but that is me.

Depends really on who is selling them, with/without tires, tread on tires, if rims have any curb rash and how fast they want to sell them

yeaa the rims are about a 9/10 and the tires are brand new .. i hav another set of wheels stock ones tho .. so wat yu guys think shud i trade my s4 wheels for the GIAC chip & ko4 ?

 

I would as long as the turbo is good and the software is right. Are you wheels oem or reps?
And why does he want to get rid of that stuff?

 

exactly - why is he trying to do a trade? just to make sure, you have the 1.8t correct? you need more than just the turbo and the chip to make it all run.

 

theyre OEM & hes going big turbo so he said he wanted my rims so he offered me the trade.. tbh ii dnt even kno wats the mileage on the ko4 i gotta check on that ... & yeaaa i do have the 1.8t i will also change my injectors and a few other things as well

 

Make sure you check over the turbo for shaft play, make sure there's no chunks missing out of the compressor fins, etc. You also need to make sure the chip will work on your car. What year is it coming off of? What year is your car? Compare the part numbers from the ECU he's giving you to yours BEFORE you trade.

Dollar for dollar, trading a set of 17" avus wheels for a working turbo and brand name software is a damn good deal IMO.
