Default transmission wont shift

i had a problem a couple weeks ago where my transmission would over rev and then shift into great mainly 1st-2nd gear and only once in a while found out that the issue was that the parameters to the transmission got deleted so it needed time to reset well since that day it hasnt done it much at all maybe here and there so i thaught all was ok well tonight i was driving home i got off of route 145 and i stepped on the gas to drive the car over revd again so i let go of the gas and then stepped on it again so it would catch on and shift well it didnt shift it just started over reving again so i stepped on the break and it worked normal for when i come to stops but i went go drive again and it did the same thing so i put it in nutural to calm it down and then it shifted put it back in drive and it over reved again two people i talked to said they arent 100% sure but they think its just a computer miss read no one yet has seemed to think the transmission is shot need some advice and potential answer to this

I'm assuming you have an automatic transmission. Read out the codes from both the ECU and the Transmission control unit and post them here.

I have to be the one to ask. Did you recently do an oil change on your car?

Thank god. So your saying it's delaying the shifts, or is it downshifting when its not supposed to?
