Default Tried to teach wife manual on my a4

my wife had me on a roller coaster ride in an open parking lot when i tried to teach her how to drive my manual a4. i got back in the driver seat. when i'm driving down the road and i let off the gas, i can feel a little jerk in the car( only when i give gas and immediately let off the pedal). it drives fine, but i know my car and i never noticed it until i let my wife drive it. has anyone have a clue? i appreciate the help.

sounds like the throw out bearing could be having issues.

umm.. for the most part, thats normal. I've had that issue in my car for years, and I've had it inspected and they've said nothings wrong with it. If its a huge jolt, understandable, but theres going to be a small jolt when you engage and let off the throttle. Place your hand on the shifter as well when you do that. You'll also feel a small tug on that as well.

Probably being paranoid lol. Otherwise she could have killed a mount somewhere if she was really that bad... I don't think you can damage a throw out bearing that easy.

I am not seeing how being hard on the clutch is going to mess up the throw out bearing. Enlighten me my brain isn't putting it together.
