He's planning on upgrading turbos but hopefully his insurance eats all his cash away. I could probalbly spend 3k and maybe build the motor after this summer
I was thinking t3s60 for now to beat him or should I invest in a bother turbo first also this is at the drag strip and it would also be a big help to post 1/4miles with what turbo u used and thanks for you're help

 

You want to build your motor to beat one person? Seems illogical but alright. A gt2871r would take him, they run ~300+awhp. I doubt you'll get out for under $3k though unless you buy used

That being said: 300+hp to an A4 seems insane to me.

I beat the guys who filmed the "insane street racing videos" at the drag strip a few years back. They were in a souped up TT VR4 (filming from their car during the race), but I was in my 455ci '72 Cutlass (500HP 600ft lb hand built Ziegler Racing Engine w/HEI, Holly 750dp, 3" Flow masters out the sides, etc.).

A little different from my B5 for sure.
