If a turbo has a kkk on it, does that mean that it's a k04, or are there k03's that have that on there also? On ecstuning it looks like only the k04's have it, but I wanted to find out for sure how to figure this out. I just now found out that I have an aftermarket clutch, so who knows what else had been changed on the car.

 

Both have it... KKK was the brand before B-W bought them.

 

So the only way to know for sure what kind of turbo you have is to read the code on the little label?
