HEYy all.. ok ive got my a4 2.8L v6 >D 99 ... but i wnt to add turbo to it.. found out theres no charger/parts for the engine altough i could build the turbo kit from parts bought at several places i dunno if it would mest everything up and i should just save time/money and SC it ^^

 

Youve got a lot to learn. Youl be better better of getting a 2.7tt engine and slapping that on if you are a HP freak. Which im guessing you are not, in that case you mite be happy with a supercharger
kit but dont be too sad when you see a few 1.8T go flying past you..

Meaning supercharger kit aint worth it and your engine will not survive long with a well breathing turbo..

S/C, forget the turbo.

 

you can turbo it, but it will cost you way more then the car is worth and because of how big the engine is you most likely will have to rear mount the turbo's. The other option is a 5K supercharger. But you honestly might as well get yourself an S4 instead.

just buy a 1.8T, don't do anything to your 2.8

 

your **** is so annoying to read. Sell your 2.8 and get a different car.

 

For a quick fix, you would buy the 2.7tt and slap it in. But, if you want to do something, I think that the turbo setup would be the better way to go.
