Blinkers are back! Thanks all! Went to a local foreign auto parts salvage yard and they pulled one for me in about 15 minutes for $15. Looks like new and works like it too! And the install was a piece of cake... extended the dash cup holder, grabbed the top bezel and pulled lightly... came out fairly easily, unplugged bad hazard switch, plugged in "new" one. The hardest part was actually putting the bezel back on. the dash lip actually angles down a bit making it difficult to get the clips back in place. Luckily the dash materials is very pliable and just need to be massaged "up" to all the bezel to get started with it's clip connections.

Thanks again all, JR

Default A twist . . .

When I got into the car to run errands this morning I fired the car up, and I heard a chattering click in the centre console; I thought it was a CD skipping.

When I got onto the road I found my turn signals were staying 'solid', and not flashing. The hazard signal worked fine.

I used the lane change feature to make my turns to the first destination.

When I came out from my first stop, I checked again, and the solid signal was intermittent, and from there the signals resumed working properly.

The only difference between before and after is that there is no distinctive click when the signals are engaged. Otherwise all is as it was before.

Will this continue to work, albeit quietly, or is it about to quit?

Thanks . . .
