It comes out easier since you don't have to unlock it. Do you have a motorized retracting screen? If so, no sweat - that's what I have. If you have a screen that doesn't fold away, but is flush mounted, then it may be more of a pain. Still, to take the surround off, don't you have to remove the console to access the lower bolts that mount the surround? I can't remember for sure, but if so, you're probably still doing less work just by removing the screen.

UPDATE: Turn signals arent working... FIXED!!!!!

I replaced my hazard switch and BOOM, turn signals are back on. If you played with legos as a kid than this installation is cake, lol.
the part was $35 at my local junk yard, and labor took MAYBE 60 seconds. Easy fix.
