Default ...ummm... need help finding a part.

just peeking into the engine bay checking the oil today, and i noticed this... its not a soft rubber hose, but a hard one...just cracked and broke off i guess, was jammed between some stuff right by where it broke. Anyone know what it is? its off my 00 1.8tqm, ATW engine code, the no. on the piece is "VRT 058 133 785 8"

looks like part of the vaccum system....just buy a hose with the same interir diameter and hose clamp it right back in the same place....

your bast bet will be to stop by your local VAG shop....should be a 10-20$ hose if it's coming from the dealer...

I would just McGyver some random hose in its place and call it a day, its just air running through there.

gl!

I've had two snap on two separate motors. You can get this part for $18.89 from www.worldimpex.com. Probably cheaper than a dealer. Actual part number is 058-133-785-B.
