Very clean car. Isn't it FWD though? Doesn't take away from the look, but it's always in the back of my mind whenever I look at it.

They do look big. I heard that he recently sold the wheels though... its what made the car in my head, I'm interested to see what's next.

 

I think they look big because the wheels have no lip. Remember, lips tend to make the wheels look smaller.

IIRC he was also running 35 tires on the 18's, which puts the car a little lower than the usual size 40 tires for 18's.

 

Ugh I love that car and those wheels. Kayak, you're right he did sell them. He had them up for trade on the Vortex for a long time and sure enough when i stopped keeping tabs on the thread he sold them outright lol. I've been looking for a reasonably priced set of those for over a year with no luck. Every set I've found is either going for $1500 w/o tires, or is trashed. Of all the OEM replica wheels out there I've never seen a company that reproduces these wheels and I just don't understand it!

LOL That is what my brain is doing also!

 

First one = classy
Second one = intimidating. The only complaint I have is some of the dark spots get in the way, it kinda felt like I was going blind or something looking at it.
