Essentially, yes. No brakes either. It's strange.

 

yea fixed gear. like a single speed but the pedals are always spinning. as to the brakes most dont have them but you can have a front one if you cant skid stop which will take time to learn.

I just want to share this with you... Not my usual style of music but heard a song over the loud speakers at a store, I asked to speak with a manager...
