I was talking to Jeremy about that. If we had Audis in the junkyards here, that would be my first option. We have special junkyards here for Audis and the people running them are shady as heck.

Haldex is the way to go for me. I don't think I have to switch back in the winter since we don't get snow and the B5 isn't the daily but it'll be nice knowing that I can go back any time.

I think I'm gonna scrap the custom exhaust idea and just buy a cat back. I'm tired of ******* around with exhaust shops and getting ridiculously high quotes. With what I've spent on mufflers, it would end up being more expensive for a lower quality result. I am teh failz.

Chris... I bought and installed a NeuSpeed 2.5 inch cat-back 3 years ago, and it's still holding up good. No rust or nothing. I found it at GMP Performance for the cheapest price (3 years ago).

So now for some reason it is still not shipping out until the 8th, even tho I replaced the tre's with ones that were "in stock"... This is turning out to be the worst online ordering experience I've ever had...

If you want something from ECS, you need to purchase 3 months a head of time. I'll be avoiding doing business with them in the future.

And I was on the phone with them and got the "I'll give you $20 credit for future purchases. Take it of leave it man".

ive been battling with them all morning online. the best ive been able to get so far is the will ship out everything they have now, and ship everything else out as they come in for free... horrible, horrible business.... they hid behind the fact there is an assumed "usually" that goes with the ship times apparantly... and that one word also apparantly adds 5 business days to that total...

some lovely direct quotes from my conversation:

Me:*says ships in 1-3 days on your site
Jay:*Ships in 1-3 days, This product is sourced from a local supplier and will usually ship within the time frame shown.
Me:*how is from the 27th to the 8th in the time frame of 1-3 days?
Jay:*This product is sourced from a local supplier and will usually ship within the time frame shown.
Jay:*Usually
Jay:*Some customers dont understand what ships in 1-3 days mean

That last line is a dick move. Some businesses apparently don't understand what customer satisfaction means...
