Good Afternoon fellow memeber. I have been saving some money and have put together a list of part to upgrade my car with. I was wondering if anyone smarter then me (should be all of you ) had any changes they might make or advice.

My idea
K04 upgrade kit from AWE (standard program)
H&R sports springs and Bilstein shocks combo from AWE
borla exhaust
and the 710N DV
My goal is to have a faster daily driver. Im not looking for a monster or anything.
My A4 is a 1.8T QT if that helps.

Thanks for any advice or help.

RE: Upgrade info/advice
the awe k04 kit is only a couple hundred less than what a gtrs setup would cost you and you'd be getting a lot more power.

Will my tiptronic tranny be able to handle those kind of numbers? Also wound i have to add a FMIC and larger injectors, et. with either of those two setups?

RE: Upgrade info/advice
torque is what kills trannies. a k04 is actually putting more stress on your tranny than a bigger turbo does. and yeah bigger injectors and fmic are needed. i forgot to add fmic to the totals so add 200 to all those.

comes with everything you need except for software and injectors. with the elims i dont think you need a new fuel pump, but it does come with all the lines and gaskets you need

RE: Upgrade info/advice
Well I asked for a quote from a local tuning shop on the above products i originally listed. They are also saying I have to have the following: FMIC, front engine snub mount, and Drive Train Stabilizer.

Is that a fair assesment or are they just trying to sell me some more upgrades?

thanks again for all the help
