Default Upgrading Injectors and FPR before k04 flash

So I have had my k04 in for about 2 week and I'm still running my k03 software (1bar). I am waiting for giac to email me back so I can send off my ecu for the pc-16 upgrade. I got my 315cc injectors and 3bar fpr today and I was wanting to know if it's ok to go ahead and install these with my K03 1bar, and k04?
Thanks

Not a good choice, just wait for PC-16. Do you have a FMIC?

You need a fmic for the k04? Doesn't sound right

Don't NEED it, but it would certainly help lower IAT's. I think an upgraded SMIC like Apikol or Boost Factory would suffice. I agree though, running K04 fueling on a K03 tune is a bad idea. Just install it all at once.

its still such a small turbo, wouldn't a side mount prevent some major lag?

Perhaps, but it might only reduce spool by 1-200 RPM at the most I'd imagine. From my experience, the piping for a front mount has smoother bends and less angles than the SMIC setup, which is definitely worth mentioning (greater pressure loss due to larger angles).

damn, thats all you loose in spool. Then a fmic is def worth it, should significantly decrease air temps

Long as you get an appropriately sized front mount i think it would be fine. Plenty of guys run smallish front mounts with K03/K04 sized turbos.
