Using medium grade on a 2.6L
Ok ok...
first off, I know most people will say " you have an audi, deal with the expensive stuff "
BUT... my question is, does 89 oct really make a difference? I know it's been proven the fuel economy isn't enchanced with 91. I have 222K on my car, and have been using 89 for about 6 months (started when gas prices were up the a$$)
Is it legitimatley going to hurt my car? I hear no knocks or pings, and it runs fine. I still get the same amount of miles per tank (400 miles per 16.2 Gallons)
The reason I switched to medium grade? I am a broke college kid with a high maintenence car. The $3.20 per fill up (with gas prices now) savings is a meal, hahaha
I need a legit answer.
