All I could find were diagrams for a 1.8 and someone posted another that was supposed to be for a 2.8 but it doesnt match my car at all. i need to reconnect all the vac lines located above the throttle body... i didnt pay close enough attention to them when i pulled apart >.< a pic from above should suffice.

He's got a either a '99 or a '99.5, according to his sig - so either way, he's got a 30v, not a 12v. I don't know where to find the diagram for a 30v, though.

are the 12v's that different? i thought it was just a different head and ECU

 

Just wondering, on my S4 and both my old A4s the vacuum diagram is on the inside of the hood. Might check there.

nope were a whole different engine, heads, t-belt, old ECU no one can tune, intake, and im pretty sure were not drive by wire (although ive never found a cable going into the throttle body), and also like josh said im pretty sure the vac diagrham is on the inside of the hood.

 

i knew about the hitachi ecu and obviously the head, but i didn't think it was a whole different block. learn sumthin new every day

 

ok well maybe i'm just too stupid but i cant figure **** out with that diagram... i just need a photo from above the throttlebody.. >.< i just need to know what to do with the hose thats shaped like =>--<= (if that makes sense) and another short single line about 4" or so

Are you talking about the diagram underneath the hood, because i agree thats alittle hard to follow too
