well guys, i must say... i did the vacuum system simplification and made by bailey work as a BOV, and my car is running great (no cat). little did i know my SAI wasnt even plugged in, ever haha. i ripped that huge $400 pump out, all metal tubes for it, and my pcv system, mostly. i left the "S" bend vent tube attached, and my 2000 doesnt have a valve cover breather like the DIYs show. i took my stock TIP and turned it upside down where the SAI pump was, and put in a 1" breather filter where my bailey used to recirculate. and the DIYs also say that boost into your brake booster is okay, but when you're boosting, you can actually hear the damn thing expanding haha. so i used a stock check valve to fix that. i also removed the n112 and 247 or whatever, and the evap solenoid. i still have the vacuum resevoir and leak pump hooked up, only because i dont know exactly how to remove it, and the charcoal canister. does anyone know where they are? ive seen sources say they are in the fenders, others say that theyre in the spare tire area...
