The color looks great!! I Ceramic coated my Exhaust Manifold blue, and I LOVE it.. are you planning on doing anything else to help accent the blue?

She did paint the lowers blue before...maybe...no, I can't say that now.

And I agree that almost any other vacuum hose is better than the Audi ones that rot and break every few years.

I would suggest a new Overflow tank, and possibly paint the cap to match

New overflow tank will def help clean up the looks of the engine bay

Coolant tank, that's what I forgot.

Sineo, you may want to check if there is any oil in your coolant. Looks a lot darker than normal.

Rubber gloves are for brakes lines. Cloth mechanix gloves are where it's at.
Words of wisdom right there. My mechanix gloves get tons of use...

The only thing I had in mind so far was replacing the vac lines with silicone ones and new spark plug wires. I'm thinking yellow. Oh, and at some point I'll get a CAI.

Yeah, I'm thinking the same thing, but are they much better looking new?I don't think I've ever seen one that wasn't discolored looking, so I just assumed they came a sort of beige color. Mine looks like a used tobacco filter.

I'm not sure why I think it would be hard to get paint to stick to the cap, but I think that's a good idea...do you think if I prepped it really well and used plenty of adhesion promoter, it would stick? I guess even if it weren't very durable, it's not like it would be hard to redo periodically.

I was just going to say that it's fine, but in case it wasn't, I just went out and checked (or else be embarrassed with an, "I told you so," on my future, "HELP! Oil in Coolant!" thread). But the fluid is clear, smells fine...I didn't see anything foreign in it. It's just thereservoir is disgusting.
