Default VERY harsh jerking when accelerating???

a couple days ago, my car has developed a very intense jerking when im accelerating. It is most noticeable in 1st gear, but will only do it if im into it more than ~50% throttle. anwhere under that, it will drive perfectly fine. but as soon as i get around the 50% throttle point, the power surges off and on, and the car jerks very hard. The best way i can describe it is, when you first learned how to drive a manual, when you started from a stop and got off the clutch to aggessively, the car would jerk really hard a couple times and then would "even itself out". it feels a lot like that. and today it started doing it in 2nd gear, but its only noticeable if i really get into it, and higher up in the powerband. 3rd, 4th, and 5th gear dont do it at all.

I checked the motor and tranny mounts last night when i changed the oil, and they seemed solid. motor only moves about ~1" in the engine bay when it is under load. im just a little bit confused at this point. anyone else ever had this problem?

if it just got replaced a week ago and started jerking now its probably because it wasn't replaced properly? i never replaced a spark plug on a b8 before tho..

Stumbling or studdering in only some gears, Have your coil packs checked, common problem with audi's. I just went to audi today and there was a recall, replaced all mine free of charge. Happened to me doing 80 on the freeway. Good luck.
