Default Walk-away function... is it possible?

I would like to have a walk-away function where your Xenons stay on for like 30sec/1min after you exit the car. Is there a way to install that ??

only thing i can think is if you installed some kinda aftermarket alarm system that would put juice to the headlights for a short time after you lock the car. Can't imagine it being cheap though. And I agree with Phil, why would you want such a feature? If there's a particular reason, fair play. If not, I'd say its almost certainly not worth the trouble.

that way it provides light for you to walk safely on the pathway your taking. kinda useless i think. Bring a keychain flash light....

LOL i have to agree, a flash light would be better than all the work required to make them stay on after run.

And how many times do you walk directly in front of your car? I know I never do, but then again I live in the city.

I've seen someone did it on a B5. I can't recall what they used but I just remember it was a lot of work. Also it wasn't the headlights like you said, the person did it with the front fog lights and the rear.

It was an option to wire a relay to do that with my remote start I put in so you could do that.. Otherwise you could use a "time delay relay", search that on google.
