They are the same, but no need to remove the turbo to adjust it. If you need more room, you can just remove the exh manifold

really? would i need a new exhaust manifold gasket then? i guess i never really thought about that. i crawled under the car thinking i could somehow get in there. but there is no way with the heat sheild and motor mount ect..i will look at it again tomarrow and see. and there is no gasket inbetween the turbo and exhaust manifold correct? its just a machined surface

There is a gasket. I dont run one anymore since it just blows and i have a good seal w/o it. You should replace the gaskets when you remove the manifold

i just barely took out my turbo and mani a couple hours ago, once that heatshield is removed, the mani bolts are easy to get too.

hey - i can get you up on a lift if that would help at all? also - idk if you got my pm, but you can try my n75 maybe thats keeping the boost low...

or, what just happened to me not long ago, i had to replace my vac line coming from the front of the intake mani, it was a small leak, but i lost SO much psi cause of it... it really surprised me how much more power my car produced when it is running right ha...

maybe its that line thats old / worn out...

YAY, well the other day i decided to just go for it and see what the wastegate looked like and well it was COMPLETELY loose. i dont know how it got that way but its boosting a solid 17psi now. SO MUCH FASTER then what it was its rediculous. (still needs to be faster tho lol) here are some pics of what i had to do.
