So I went today planning on goin both days, but I doubt ill go tomorrow. Wasn't too impressed with this years show, and forgot how slow the majority of VW and Audis are. I sometimes wonder why they are even tracking their cars. I saw a beautiful widebody R32 turbo that only ran a 12.7. That's pathetic. And he sat at the UNI booth sitting on his 2-step while everyone cheered and whistled. That's nothing spectacular at all and quite common in other car scenes. Overall I was not impressed by much and only enjoyed a few of the cars there. Not to mention I didn't run or even bring my car for that matter, which is likely the underlying source of my discontent.

 

yea instead of going to waterfest i went to the super chevy show at maple grove dragstrip near reading pa and watchd 10 second and faster cars all day including 6 second pro mod cars, wheel standing door slamers and jet cars. been going to this show for about 21 years now and im 23 now couldnt miss it nothing beats a blown or turbod big block doing single digits in the 1/4

 

I went late today but from what I saw being my first year it's not terrible. I'm going tomorrow so hopefully I get to see more action. I mean theirs alot of cars and alot of booths selling stuff so I'll post up some pics and maybe faster A4 can post some up too.

Krip- Sorry but my A4 is undrivable. It seems something is terribly wrong so I couldn't bring it but I went with my friend in his v8 VW Treg so it was enjoyable. And I don't wanna be a brag but I did score a nice little gift while I was there. Haha a Vag com. Newest one capable of doing Anyones car. Pretty excited to use it and can't wait to scan the A4 and see why my baby is hurting. Btw post up so sweet vag mods I can do pics coming tomorrow!

 

When are those VW guys going to figure out a 2step isn't nothing but a toy, its for show no GO. lol

So what was the quickest A4 running and how was the weather conditions?

 

It was hot and sunny. I got there a lil late and spent most of the time arguing with a certain unnamed company, so I didn't even get to watch much racing. I did talk to clutch masters and they told me that you could hook it up with a 7.25" twin disc for a good deal. We went in my friends evo that we changed his dsm symbol to VW, and wrote VR6 under that with painters tape. MOST people took pics of it so keep an eye out.

 

Haha I saw that Evo. Sorry guys but things came up so it was a no go today. But I have a few videos of stuff like a 4.2 revving up and such. But yeah I honestly think it was an okay time but am looking forward to H20. Faster, are you going to H20?

 

Oh ill be at h2o for sure. In my car this time. Really the highlight of yesterday was on the way home. A GLI tried to race us, I swear we pulled like 30 car lengths on it. Plus the evos 3rd gear isn't working, so we started in 4th where the jetta dropped into 3rd. I got another trans for it in the garage. Switching it out this week.

 

Who was that at the CM booth that said that and I am sure I can work something out for you.
