found this over at AW . . . quick search. Not sure of which K03 though, pre 2001 or not?
1. The K03 and K04 use the same castings for the compressor side and the "hot" (exhaust) side.
2. The K03 and the K04 use different compressor turbines.
3. THE K03 AND K04 USE DIFFERENT EXHAUST TURBINES!
4. The shafts are exactly the same.
5. The cartridge (center section) is exactly the same.

The original K03 (used in 150hp A4's) had smaller compressor and turbine wheels.
The K03-S (Sport, in the 170hp models) utilize the SAME turbine wheel as the K04-15. The difference between the K03-S and K04-15 is that the K04-15 has a more aggressive compressor trim... diameter and A/R should be the same IIRC.
This information was based solely with my own experience, back in the days while trying to build up my own ultimate "hybrid" (seeing that the E05 and SK04 were failures).

This is correct. Like i have stated before. However, the compressor wheels are the same size. The difference as i said before was 12 vs 8 blades (8 being ko4). The turbine is 1-2mm larger and it only gives the turbo a tiny bit more ability to hold power (larger spike with barely slower taper). The ko3s uses a simular 8 blade design and larger turbo inlet (larger exducer also) and that is the reason they are rated 5hp differnt.
The AZ stuff is so far off and not worth my time to correct since all the info is above.
OK, now for why its a worthless "upgrade" for the 1000th time. You are spending over $1k for basically a larger tq spike that last all of 500-600rpms and maybe 10-15whp. Also what is even more retarted is that people run the turbo to basically 2bar to make the power. The turbo starts falling out of efficiency past 1bar. Just think about that for a bit and you will see why it makes comparing these turbos retarted. You push the ko3 the same way and will get basically the same results w/o spending all the money for the turbo. You want to hold psi longer, buy a mbc and if you still want to hold power, turn the wastegate nut 2 full turns.

Oh, ok, you don't have the dyno sheet, too bad.
