Default Weird creeking noise

Hey guys did a search on this but couldnt really find anything conclusive. Seems it could be control arms, bushings, or something else. Well for some reason within 1-20mph my car will make a creeking noise, definitely coming somewhere from the front end. It will make a noise for a few seconds whether speeding up or slowing down. However, it seems that there might be less noise if I am turning. It also doesnt seem to make a difference if I am in gear or n neutral. Any advice would be great. Thanks. Also, I had my Timing belt changed at around 75k and am currently at 160k, should I be looking to get it changed again?

Its a control arm somewhere. Mine creaked like crazy until I replaced the driver side lowers.

probably... but id also check to see if there is grease on the inside of the wheels, as it could be a dry cv joint

+1 on one or more of the control arms... Sway bar link usually clunks, and dry cv joints usually click and get more severe when making a sharp turn.

I agree its probably a control arm, but dont rule out the cv. They click when they are toast, but can squeak if they are just dryin out.

if it is a bad control arm how long can I drive it and how much experienced do you have to be to change it?

I've driven on my bad control arms for about 8 months now. The sound is incredibly painful to hear (and a tad embarrassing at times IE driving through a parking lot where all sorts of people can hear it) but thus far, nothing has snapped so you should be good for a while. Replacing the lowers is easier than the uppers I've been told, but I can't say for sure cuz I have yet to get around to doing them. I got a full 13 piece replacement kit for $250.01 shipped with no tax on ebay and if it ever stops raining on my weekends around this place, I'll get around to putting em on.
