Default what suspension set up is that?

Looks good, so what suspension set up is that. I want my stance right where your's is at. I currently have a 99 A4Q 2.8 with S4 suspension; I like the ride but it's still way to 4x4 with about 2" tire to fender well gap. All the H&R sport springs I've seen photo's of are just a little to low for me and I don't want the ride to get much rougher than it is with the S4 springs.

PS- I busted 3 sets of spring compressors installing these s4 springs. The nut's would just bust of the end of the threaded rod when de-compressing the springs and the whole thing just exploded (twice). Luckily I had my body position perpendicular to the spring because spring compressor scare the **** out of me. I think using an impact wrench may have been what caused the threads to gall and seize?

Umm, thats the craziest thing I have ever heard. I would never use a power tool on spring compressors. At least with a hand wrench you have a feel for the tension on the assembly. Thats my opinion, you're lucky you didn't get gouged or killed.

no nothing 'galled or siezed' it just slipped off! its hard to explain, just got twisted a bit i guess. and yeah im about 100% sure it was from the jolting caused by the impact wrench

sucks about the hand. my brother in law lost an eye doing his springs. you're really lucky. i don't recommend anybody do their own spring work unless they really know what they're doing.

don't drive too far if the inner fender is rubbing, I had a problem on mine where they were only rubbing when on the highway, and it actually ruined the inner sidewall of my two front tires. i trimmed the bottoms off the inner fenders and problem solved...
