cheapest place I've seen the 710n was ECS. They had it on sale for like $30 a few months ago, and I wanna say their regular price is only about $40.

Metalman, I know what you mean, my DV is surprisingly loud. It doesn't really bother me but I have no idea why anyone would want it any louder lol

It will fit directly. Just gotta be wary of cracked/failing tubing, especially the vacuum line going to the DV.

Quote: For stage one the 710n will work fine. If you plan to go BT or run a lot of boost you may want to go with an R1 or similar rebuildable unit instead, as the 710n is only good up to about 18psi or so.
How would a BPV be boost limited?

im not sure about boost limited really.. my Forge 007 came with 3 springs.. soft medium and hard to handle different boost pressures.. theyre color coded and i cant remember which one is soft, i think green.. but thats what comes in it in the box.. i replaced it with the next one up after getting chipped, just a little stiffer..

my car honestly is just as loud as a blow off valve.. as soon as i get on the gas all you can hear is turbo whistle and huffing from the intake, and if i build boost and let off fast it sounds off real loud.. def stick with a DV, like the ones Emil sells since they are essentially a forge 007 without the name, and get a cone filter setup.. i also have a APR turbo inlet pipe which definatley adds to the sound and gives you a little more pickup down low.. now that my corner lense is smashed out on passenger side i really can get the cold air in there and hear my DV sound off haha

Yeah i do notice the added noise, spooling up etc, and i still have my stock DV. Only other thing i have is a K&N drop in filter.

Also i have Denso Iridium spark plugs in, and gapped at 028, thats right for when your chipped correct?

Its just not designed to handle boost pressure that high. First of all, the entire thing is made of plastic and rubber, as opposed to an APR R1 which is all metal. Also, the 710 is not rebuildable, whereas the R1 (as mentioned above) is rebuildable and comes with several different springs for different boost levels.

Its not that it just instantly stops working at a certain level of boost, its just not the right tool for the job when you're talking about running boost pressure that high.
