Default what is the 1/4 mile time.....

just wondering waht is the 1/4 mile time for an 01' A4 1.8t 5speed bone stock...tried searching but couldnt find it...just curious so yea thanx..

its probably mid to high 16's, not very fast...

ohhk...a HFC nd 2.5" piping wit magnaflow shouldnt make a huge difference right...well the reason im askin gtoo is cuz i tracked it and i got mid to low 15's...i was expecting 16's or 17's but i got surprised...nd dats all i got Labree HFC and the exhaust set up i mentioned..ohh nd a K&N air filter...

how long ago did you get the car? your car might be chipped. do you have a boost gauge installed and know what your boosting?

i got it like bout 4 months ago...no i just got my gauge on friday nd installin it today...but i doubt im chipped already....

Stock 2001 170whp car is around mid to high 15's, it was the stock pre-2001 150 hp cars that ran low 16 stock.


If you bought the car used it is most likely chipped or you ran in very cold temps. Do you know what your trap speeds were?

actually yea it was cold it was 39 to 45 on average the whole time soo it was pretty cold..
i have my slips. first time i ran it i had...
R/T- .706
60'- 2.159
330- 6.448
1/8- 10.074
MPH- 68.20
1000- 13.156
1/4- 15.780
MPH- 85.72

second run....
R/T- .558
60'- 2.131
330- 6.344
1/8- 9.927
MPH- 69.00
1000- 12.973
1/4- 15.570
MPH- 86.71

idk if thats what u meant by trap speeds but im sure its in there...lol

im pretty sure the 01 is 170chp, not whp.

doesnt it matter on what engine code it is. like I know the AEB 1.8t has 150whp but doesn;t the AWM 1.8t have 170whp?
